Many people in difficulty fall through the gaps of existing schemes: procedures that take too long, support that doesn’t fit, isolation. We start from each person’s situation and build a response for them.
Requests are made directly on this site, by the person, someone close to them or a professional. A team of volunteers reviews the situation, then a solidarity committee decides together what help to give. Deciding as a group keeps the help fair and transparent.
Beyond one-off help, we refer each person to the right partners (housing, health, food, paperwork) and stay in touch to follow how things evolve. The goal is for the person to regain independence, not to depend on us.
What we can fund or organise
- One-off financial help
- To cover an urgent expense.
- Food and material help
- Groceries, hygiene, clothes, school supplies.
- Housing support
- Emergency rent, deposit, temporary accommodation.
- Social support
- Referrals, advice, help with paperwork, follow-up.
We act first in Paris and the surrounding region. Our statutes also allow us to help abroad, especially in Africa: we do so case by case, when a trusted contact can check the situation and hand over the help.
